Jahbari born Desmond Jahbari Joosten in the Dutch province of Friesland. He founded his first Record label called: Dread Heights Records in 2024. He first started mixing dub in 2023 but his earlier mixes were lost. He was inspired by artists such as: Culture, Burning Spear, Don Carlos, Lucky Dube, Scientist, King Tubby and Lee "Scratch" Perry just to name a few.
